Sonny was one of the few players for the Skins that kept his RK2 helmet from the previous year.  Most everyone moved on to the TK,  but for some reason he had his 1969 spear helmet reconditioned.  The very next year 1971, he too switched to the Riddell Tru-Kurv.  Sonny was only one of two players that wore all 4 decal changes (Feather, spear, R and Indian head)  Do you know the other? By the way,  we did not forget the chin strap, but Sonny sure did.
