Dick Deegan mid 60's
(Game Worn)
Deegan obviously had a narrow skull, notice the gray (shims) that slid around the inside of the suspension. This helped keep the helmet tight to the head. The saying goes, "If you don't have a head ache for the first two day of wearing a new suspension helmet, it is too loose!". This is the RAC-H2 model with Areocell protection. Notice the two drill holes above the butterfly hookup, this helmet was around a while, it's very first mask was the cowcatcher.
