Helmet Hut lost a bit of its passion this week.  Jim Parker, our dear friend, our brother and my partner of this little helmet site passed away quietly and unexpected at his home. We are lost at the moment. People who knew Jim, even for an hour, saw that his passion for life was addictive and his passion for helmets was contagious. Jim was quiet and unassuming but the true life blood of Historic Helmets, Inc and Helmethut.com.  Without him, none of this would have happened.

Everything I know about helmets, I learned from Jim. I just needed more time to learn everything he knew. Thanks to all his friends and readers of Helmet Hut for sharing his passion. During this difficult time we'd love to hear your stories, memories or remarks to share with the family.

Thank you.

 Curtis
