As the entire sports world was shaking its collective heads, it's a good chance, so too was the head wearing this wonderful piece of Jets history.  We would assume after Joe Namath made his bold prediction, a few of these helmets may have also hung low in practice.  This is the RK2 "Husky" model Riddell helmet, worn by some of the largest men of the time.  Namath had his work cut out in keeping the Colts at bay in Super Bowl III and would've had even more issues by his own players if they lost, especially the "husky" ones.
