Jerry Jones 1964
(Authentic Reproduction)

1964 NATIONAL CHAMPIONS.  Jerry Jones remembers it well.  He should because he was the starting linebacker for three years.  No one called him Mr. Jones in college, but we will starting now.  Mr. Jones wore the Adams "N-1000" two bar, just slightly angled downward.  Notice the large three inch numbers that adorned the back of this deep cardinal in color, classic RK styled Riddell helmet.   Above is a picture of the helmet in his office in front of some interesting shaped trophies.   When we find out what they were for, we will bring that to you...  right here on Helmet Hut.

A special thanks goes out to Jim Lindsey, Jerry's partner, long time friend and team mate of the 1964 Razorback champions.    Both were an integral part of the "Hall of Champions" museum in the newly renovated Frank Broyles Center at the University of Arkansas.  Make sure you stop by sometime.
